With sea views

The house is located on the beach of Santa Monica.

Built in 1930

Grace Kelly, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and Sharon Tate are some of the stars that, it seems, were staying at the mansion.

A large garage

The garage has four seats and a private access door to the patio.

An oceanfront pool

The garden has a heated pool, and a court to play tennis and paddle.

Natural light

Cary Grant and his friend, actor Randolph Scott, acquired the property in the 1930s.

Parisian inspiration

When Cary Grant married Barbara Hutton in 1942, she moved to the mansion.

"Barbara transformed the dining room into a replica of the Maxim's restaurant in Paris," reports the Wall Street Journal.

Original details

The current owner keeps intact many of the original details of the house, but removed the barbed wire surrounding the farm.

38 years ago, Jennifer Diener bought the house with her husband Royce, for approximately € 610,000. Unfortunately, Royce passed away in May 2017.

Many of the rooms have beautiful ocean views.

The master suite

The master suite also enjoys magnificent views of the sea, rest area, office, dressing rooms, and two bathrooms with original tiles.

Accommodation for everyone

The house has four other bedrooms overlooking the Santa Monica Pier, including staff accommodation with a separate entrance.
