Roman artichokes, an easy and highly addictive dish

INGREDIENTS (4 pers.):- 12 artichokes
- 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley
- Oregano
- Peppermint
- Mint leaves
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 0.6 dl of dry white wine
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper

Step 1

Cut the stem base and the tip of the artichoke leaves. Peel the stem with a sharp knife and remove the harder outer leaves. Put in a bowl a liter of water and the juice of a lemon, and add the prepared artichokes.

Step 2

Finely chop mint leaves, oregano, parsley, peppermint and peeled garlic. Mix the herbs with the garlic and smear the artichokes well, so that it is impregnated between the leaves.

Step 3

Put a pot on the fire with olive oil, wine and artichokes. Salpimentar and cover the pot. Cook between 25-30 minutes. Serve with cooking juices, chopped herbs and a drizzle of olive oil.
