The cold outside: heat systems

If you have not yet chosen your heating mode this fall, take note of everything you have to remember when choosing the best alternative for your home. These are the questions you should ask yourself when the moment of truth arrives.

PELLETS
If this year is the final one, the pellet stoves are perfect. High performance, economic and, in addition, ecological. They use 100% renewable fuels from plant residues that do not release CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

BOILER OR AUXILIARY SOLUTIONS?
The boiler is not the only alternative you will find to heat your home. Your gas bill can be reduced by choosing another auxiliary heat source such as wood stoves. Do you know them?

WOOD STOVE
Wood stoves provide high performance heat and clean combustion. They work through renewable biofuels called briquettes, pruning firewood that, in addition to heating, make the room cozy thanks to its decorative flame. Of course, they require a smoke outlet on the ceiling or wall.

AND IF WE PUT IT IN THE BATH?
Towel radiators are another great option to heat the house. In addition to providing heat, they remove moisture from bathroom textiles in winter and can be operated by water heating systems connected to the boiler, such as the classic radiator, or electric. They barely take up space and there are plenty of decorative models that will fit perfectly in smaller bathrooms.

THERMOSTAT OR CHRONOTERMOSTATE?
Both are devices designed to save energy without having to give up comfort. With them you can choose the moment you prefer to turn your heating on and off without having to move from the sofa.
